Hotel Business School: five-star education
Palazzo Doglio will host the Open Day of the Hotel Business School by Forte Village which presents the Master Five Stars Hotel Management and the Master Food & Wine starting next November 2020.
The new editions of the Master Five Stars Hotel Management and the Master Food & Wine Operations Management, conceived and promoted by the Business School Hotel by Forte Village, will be presented on Thursday 24 September 2020 at Palazzo Doglio, a luxury hotel in the heart of the ancient city of Cagliari.
The Hotel Business School was founded in 2008 by the collaboration between Forte Village Resort and LUISS Business School. Today it’s a reference point for all those who dream of working in the industry of five-star national and international hospitality.
The school’s objective is to teach dynamic and highly qualified young people about Hotel Management, allowing them to become professionals in the sector of luxury hospitality and be able of managing all operative and directory aspects that are indispensable to guarantee the standards required in the five-star hôtellerie market.
The course of studies at the Hotel Business School aims at a teaching methodology based on a “learning by doing” approach which allows students to acquire practical competences and operate immediately in a working environment. Also, the teaching staff consists of a mix of academics, top managers, and professionals in the sector.
After having an experience working beside professionals, the students will be able to take on many different roles and responsibilities within the different areas belonging to the hotel industry: Food & Beverage Manager, Room Division Manager, Revenue Manager, Sales& Marketing Manager, Event & Congress Manager, Human resources responsible and Business Consultant.
The value of this the Hotel Business School course is also visible by the percentage of successful placements of students which have reached almost 100% for one year after the end of the studies.

The Hotel Business School courses include the Master Five Stars Management and the Master Food &Wine operations Management which will both be presented at the open day in the program at Palazzo Doglio, the luxury hotel close to the splendid Poetto beach and the Bastion of Saint Remy.

- Master Five Stars Hotel Management: is the first master course in Italy in the sector of hospitality and one of the best at an international level according to the Eduniversal ranking. The course is divided into four training areas: The Preparatory Area dealing with General Management, the Specialist Area with Hospitality Management, the Cross-Sectional dealing with Personal Development, and the Opening Area with Project Work and Traineeship. A highly innovative program that is completed with some specific training modules such as the one developed by the International Butler Academy in addition to the two modules, CHESS and CRASE, presented by professors at Cornell University. In the second case, these are real business games that through the use of specific software, allow the student to simulate the real-time management of a hotel and restaurant. This master course is aimed at graduates with proven experience in the hospitality sector.
- Master Food & Wine Operations Management: aspires to the training of professionals in the food and wine sector and the food and beverage chain with particular reference to the wine area and the HORECA and GDO sector. The macro training areas include food science, food academy, and management in Food&wine. The course is carried out with the development of project work, a course aimed at obtaining the status of the sommelier, educational visits to first reference facilities, and a final stage. This master is aimed at young graduates.
Both Masters have limited places and involve a selection process. Grants are provided for partial coverage of the frequency line.
