2 appointments with the “Blue Notes in Cagliari” show
“Blue Notes in Cagliari” was born from the collaboration between Teatro Doglio and the famous Blue Note Milano group, kicking off a season that will bring great international music to Sardinia.
The Blue Note is one of the most famous jazz clubs in the world, along with the historic Blue Note Jazz Club in the Greenwich Village in New York, the Blue Note in Tokyo, Nagoya Japan, Beijing in China, and the Blue Note in Honolulu in Hawaii, Rio de Janeiro and Napa California.
The first event is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th at 8 pm with “Nick the Nightfly & Friends” and the second Friday, February 10th with “Matthew Lee”. For both dates, which will be one of a kind in Cagliari and Sardinia, a single ticket will be valid.
To present the two evenings Nick the Nightfly will take the stage, He is known above all for the radio program “Monte Carlo Nights” broadcasted on Radio Monte Carlo, as well as Artistic Director of Blue Note Milano. He is a refined musician, singer and British DJ.
Tickets are on sale from Wednesday 14th December in the Box Office Sardegna website and at the point of sale in Viale Regina Margherita, 43, in Cagliari.
The timeless “Addams Family”
Sunday, February 19th, at 11 am and 4 pm, will be the turn of the famous “Addams Family”, a vibrant musical comedy for all ages.
Since the thirties, the characters of Charles Addams have inspired the creation of works in different media such as cartoons, feature films, video games, board games and action figures.
The adaptation that will be staged at Teatro Doglio was born from the imagination of Andrew Lippa, Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, authors of the hilarious musical comedy that debuted in 2010 on Broadway with Bebe Neuwirth and Nathan Lane in the role of the bizarre spouses Morticia and Gomez Addams.
In Italy it is the mastery of the Compagnia della Corona to bring back to the stage the hilarious and paradoxical events, rich in black humour: the plot sees Wednesday all grown up and worrying about getting married.
An invitation to dinner at Addams’ house and a traditional “Game” will bring the two families to get to know each other better, revealing unspeakable secrets in an agitated evening full of misunderstandings and uncomfortable truths that will change everyone’s lives.
Tickets are on sale from Wednesday 14th December in the Box Office Sardegna website and at the point of sale in Viale Regina Margherita, 43, in Cagliari.
