Francesca Michielin on tour at Teatro Doglio: all the info you need
The tour “Bonsoir!-Michielin10 at the theatre” stops in the heart of Cagliari.
Saturday, March 4th at 9 pm the stage of Teatro Doglio, in via Logudoro in Cagliari, will host the unmissable Francesca Michielin concert, part of the “Bonsoir! – Michielin10 a teatro” tour, which will celebrate the artist’s 10-year career in some of the most historic and magical stages in Italy.
Francesca returns to embrace her usual audience as well as those who have discovered her recently, presenting for the first time on stage the unpublished songs of the new album “Cani Sciolti” along with the greatest successes that have made her one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists of the Italian contemporary scene.
Her talent emerged with her victory at X-Factor in 2011; since then, she has trod the stage of the Ariston on various occasions. In 2012 during the duets evenings with Chiara Civello interpreting “Al posto del mondo”, in 2016 as a competitor with the song “Nessun grado di separazione” which conquered second place, in 2021 with Fedez and their “Chiamami per nome” which immediately shot to the top of the charts and came in second place, and then in 2022 as a conductor for the song “Ogni volta è così” by Emma Marrone.
In addition, among the numerous activities and famous collaborations, it should be noted the one with Fedez which, in 2014, led to the release of “Magnifico”, a very successful single awarded 6 platinum discs.
But that’s not all: in 2022, she debuted as a writer with his first novel “Il cuore è un organo” published by Mondadori and is at the helm of the television program “Effetto terra” on Sky Nature. She also up was the host of the sixteenth edition of X Factor, 10 years after his victory as a competitor.
The 2023 tour in the most evocative theatres in Italy
“Bonsoir! – Michielin10 a teatro” is a journey through the mirror that traces the 10 years of the artist’s career and a mirror is the key and iconic element at the centre of the stage with which Francesca interacts during the show, a reflection and a stimulus to always improve.
The show is theatrical and iridescent, conceived as a “football match” with an initial anthem, first and second half, extra time, and penalties.
The singer-songwriter and her band (5 in total) are dressed like a football team in green, a colour she feels connected to, in different shades.
The musical director is Giovanni Pallotti, and the guitar player is Eugenio Cattini, at the bass Luca Marchi, at the keyboards Giorgia Canton and on the drums Evita Polidoro.
The beauty of Teatro Doglio, a location of excellence
The appointment with the only Sardinian date of Francesca Michielin’s 2023 tour will take place in the splendid setting of Teatro Doglio, an architectural pearl of the Sixties in the centre of Cagliari, found by chance during the renovation of the adjacent Palazzo Doglio.
It is the second largest theatre in the city, a contemporary space with a multifunctional structure that today, back to the city after forty years of closure, offers quality cultural events and can accommodate from 100 to 1000 people.
A reference point for the agenda of the quality shows of the Sardinian capital, Teatro Doglio is also the ideal location for conferences and events thanks to the three meeting rooms, the latest generation equipment, the external and internal foyer, and a wonderful winter garden.
