Spring at Teatro Doglio includes shows of all kinds: from classical music to contemporary talks, up to cabaret.
And it is the varied program that makes Teatro Doglio a cultural reference for different types of audiences.
Finally Spring has come at Teatro Doglio! And between April and May, the new cultural center of Cagliari is going to provide 3 shows, one different from the other.
The audience can laugh with comedians, reflect on national events, or be captivated by the notes of classical music.
So, here are the next spring events at the Teatro Doglio.
- Saturday, April 23, 9 pm: “Beauty is not everything”
Gianluca Impastato and Gianluca Fubelli arrive at Teatro Doglio directly from Colorado, the famous comedy TV show.
Gianluca Fubelli, aka Scintilla, not only participated as a comedian in the TV show, but was also its host.
On the other hand, Gianluca Impastato is known for his characters: the lively Fotomodello, the great connoisseur Chicco D’Oliva and the investigator of the absurd Mariello Prapapappo. Together they will entertain people of all ages. - Friday, May 6, 8 pm: Sallusti and Palamara @Teatro Doglio
Spring at Teatro Doglio is also the season of contemporary talks. The first appointment is with two special guests: Alessandro Sallusti and Luca Palamara. Sallusti, a journalist, and Palamara, a former magistrate, will analyze contemporary Italian society and its increasingly confusion. The starting point will be the book ‘Lobby & Logge’ published by Rizzoli, from which the interview will unfold, ranging from the most prominent current events to the darkest aspects of Italy. The show sees the special participation of Paolo Di Giannantonio, journalist and TV presenter. - Saturday, May 14, 9 pm: Tifu and Andaloro in recital
Teatro Doglio does not forget classical music and planned an evening show in collaboration with the Lei Festival. The protagonists are two artists who return in town after 18 years: Anna Tifu and Giuseppe Andaloro. Anna Tifu is one of the best violinists of her generation. She was the testimonial of Italian talent alongside Riccardo Muti, Giuseppe Tornatore and Eleonora Abbagnato. In addition, in 2020 she performed Estate from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with the National Orchestra of Santa Cecilia, for the Anima Mundi de la Maison Fendi project. The pianist Giuseppe Andaloro is a world famous artist too. Indeed, he has performed in the most famous concert halls: La Scala in Milan, the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, the Esplanade Auditorium in Singapore and the City Hall Concert Hall in Hong Kong.

The beauty of the Doglio Theater
Together with the Lyric Theater, Teatro Doglio is an important symbol of the cultural, historical and artistic heritage of Cagliari.
Yet this 60s architectural treasure was discovered by chance during the renovation of the nearby Palazzo Doglio. This is why it is also called the hidden theater.
After a period of abandonment, the theater was once again opened to the public. Now, after almost 40 years, it animates not only one of the historic districts of Cagliari, but the whole city. Indeed, since its reopening it has hosted artists of all kinds and musicians such as Giovanni Allevi and Paolo Fresu.
But Teatro Doglio is also a multifunctional space. Thanks to the possibility of hosting up to 1000 people, it is suitable as a conference center. Its strong points are the 3 meeting rooms, the latest generation equipment, an internal and external foyer, and a splendid winter garden.
The Theater is located in Via Logudoro 32, Cagliari, CA 09010 Italy
