Blue Notes in Cagliari: the second appointment with great music in Sardinia in a location of excellence
For the second time in Sardinia, “Blue Notes in Cagliari”, the review in collaboration with Teatro Doglio, will bring the best Italian and international artists to the magnificent island. Blue Note Off is the original format of Blue Note Milano, the elegant jazz club opened in 2003 where spectators have the opportunity to attend the vibrant performances of internationally renowned artists and taste, at the same time, a refined cuisine with a wide selection of Italian and French wines and over 200 cocktails and spirits.
Blue Note Milano, created to bring great jazz music outside the historic headquarters in Via Borsieri, is also part of the “Blue Note” network, one of the most famous jazz clubs in the world, along with the historic Blue Note Jazz Club in Greenwich Village in New York, the Blue Note in Tokyo, Nagoya in Japan, Beijing in China, and the Blue Note in Honolulu in Hawaii, Rio de Janeiro and Napa in California.
In Sardinia, the stage of Teatro Doglio in the heart of Cagliari will host the exclusive event. The architectural pearl of the Sixties was found by chance during the renovation of the adjacent Palazzo Doglio.
Reopened in 2021 after being closed for thirty years, it is now the second most important theatre in the capital and stands as a contemporary space, a multifunctional structure and a reference point for the agenda of quality entertainment and wide-ranging projects.
In addition, it can accommodate from 100 to 1000 people and is the ideal location for conferences and events thanks to the three meeting rooms, the latest generation equipment, the external and internal foyer, and a wonderful winter garden.
Tickets for the “Matthew Live” concert on May 7th are available at Boxoffice Sardegna (Viale Regina Margherita 43, Cagliari) or on the homonymous www.boxofficesardegna.it (20:00 – 50 € stalls; 40 € gallery).
